What a typical UK buyer spends
Most first orders fall between £7.49 and £17.99: 500 to 2,500 followers, sometimes with a small like package on one post. Larger packages are usually bought by accounts that already have several thousand followers.
What pushes follower prices up or down
- Pace. Slower, steadier delivery costs more to run than dumping everything at once.
- Refill promises. A seller who tops up drops has to budget for it.
- Currency. Sites pricing in dollars or euros may look cheaper until your bank adds a fee.
- Hidden extras. Some sites add “priority” or “insurance” at checkout. We do not.
How to compare two offers fairly
Divide the price by the number of followers to get pence per follower, then ask three questions: is it one payment or a subscription, is it in pounds, and what happens if followers drop? A lower pence figure with no refill can cost more after one top-up order.
Is the most expensive option the best?
Not necessarily. Very high prices often come with words like “real”, “active” or “UK targeted” that no seller can reliably deliver. Our explainer on those claims walks through why.
A worked example for a small UK business
Say a new florist in Leeds has 180 followers and wants the page to look established before a market weekend. A sensible plan is 500 followers (£7.49) now and 250 likes on the best arrangement photo (£2.99), so £10.48 in total. Compare that with one 10,000 package: cheaper per follower, but £47.99 and wildly out of proportion for a page that size.
The cheapest plan is the one that fits. Spending less on a size that looks natural usually beats spending more on a number nobody believes.
